Greek Yogurt Chicken Wraps Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Chicken Marinade:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs, if you're a rebel)
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
For the Wrap Assembly:
- Whole wheat wraps (or regular if you're feeling wild)
- Lettuce or spinach leaves
- Cucumber slices
- Tomato slices
- Red onion (thinly sliced)
- Crumbled feta cheese (optional but highly recommended)
- Extra Greek yogurt or tzatziki for spreading
Instructions:
1. Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add your chicken, toss to coat, cover, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight if you're adulting properly).
2. Let's do it.
Grill or pan-cook the chicken over medium heat for about 5 -7 minutes each side until fully cooked and turn in to golden colour. Let it rest a few minutes, then slice it up.
3. Make the Wraps.
Lay out your wrap, then Spread a spoonful of Greek yogurt . Add greens, veggies, chicken, and a sprinkle of feta.
4. Wrap & Roll.
Fold wrap like a burrito (or you can eat it taco-style). Optional: for extra crisp toast it lightly in a pan.
Tips & Extras:
Add olives or roasted red peppers.
Store components separately and build fresh each time.
Don’t love chicken? This marinade works great on tofu or chickpeas too.
You'll Love It:
It’s creamy, tangy, protein-packed, and seriously satisfying without that post-lunch food coma. Plus, Greek yogurt gives you that creamy texture without needing mayo or heavy sauces. Win!
